Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR)
The Meta Trak S5 includes two small, battery-operated ID tags for driver recognition. Simply keep one with your vehicle keys — when the ignition is turned on, the tracker searches for the tag:
Tag detected: The authorised driver is verified, and all is normal.
Tag not detected: An instant alert is sent to the Secure Operating Centre. A team member will call you to confirm if a theft is taking place and, if necessary, coordinate directly with the police to recover your vehicle.
The ID tags use Bluetooth Low Energy technology for reliable performance and have a 12–18-month battery life before needing replacement.
24/7 Secure Control Room Monitoring
Your Meta Trak S5 connects to a dedicated 24/7/365 Secure Operating Centre.
If any alert is triggered, a trained operator will call you immediately to verify the situation.
In the event of theft, the team will liaise directly with UK and European police forces, providing precise tracking data for rapid recovery.
Multiple Positioning Technologies
The Meta Trak S5 uses the latest GNSS receiver technology, combining data from GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS satellites with GSM cell positioning.
This multi-source approach enhances accuracy and provides strong resistance to signal jamming.
Multi-Network Roaming Connectivity
Equipped with a quad-band modem and global roaming SIM, the system ensures seamless connectivity across networks.
It automatically switches between mobile networks to maintain the strongest possible signal, even in poor-coverage areas — guaranteeing uninterrupted communication.
Unauthorised Movement Alerts
If your vehicle moves while the ignition is off (for example, if it’s towed), the Meta Trak S5 instantly sends an alert to the Secure Operating Centre and a push notification to your Meta Trak app.
Battery Disconnection Alerts
If your vehicle’s battery is disconnected or power is lost, the system switches to an internal backup battery and sends alerts to both the Secure Control Room and the Meta Trak app.
Live Tracking
Track your vehicle in real time using the Meta Trak mobile app or online portal.
You can also view journey history for up to 12 months and access driving behaviour scores for performance insights.
Low Vehicle Battery Alerts
When your vehicle battery drops below a safe level, you’ll receive a push notification in the Meta Trak app — which also lets you monitor battery voltage in real time.
